Services

TLC Hair caters for Ladies, Men and Children of all ages. There is a very friendly atmosphere, and everybody is made to feel welcome.

Tara, the owner, has been fully qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing since 2002. Her new stylist, Jo, also holds NVQ Level 2.

Any type of hairstyle can be achieved, from a perm to a French plait. In addition to this broad range, Jo offers clients hair extensions and chemical straightening, whilst Tara herself provides a wonderful Bridal service for the Bride and her Bridesmaids.

Tara Long, Proprietor

The 24 year old from Woolmer Green started hairdressing training as soon as she left school at 16. When she finished her NVQ Level 2 in 2002, she was already working in a local salon and had started to build a good client base. After 5 years there, she made the step up to renting the only chair in a smaller salon before establishing TLC Hair in Woolmer Green in 2009.

Tara enjoys a chat, and takes great delight as each and every customer leaves happy. Her dream as a child was to become a hairdresser, which she has achieved far earlier than she imagined!

Jo Mauro, Stylist

Jo joined TLC Hair in August 2009, and is a fun loving and outgoing girl, who like Tara enjoys a natter! She joined us from Clipso after 6 years at the St Albans based salon, and has also had a spell of hairdressing in Australia which was a great experience for the 22 year old.

She takes great pride in her work, and enjoys working in a smaller salon with a more personal atmosphere.
